BST International GmbH, leading manufacturer of quality assurance systems for the web processing industry, has introduced the “QCenter” a new product line for web viewing, 100%-inspection and spectral color measurement. QCenter is the central control for quality assurance. Based on newly developed software, BST integrates various functions on one platform. BST creates an intelligent, modular managing tool for the comprehensive monitoring of the production tasks. “Customers expect appropriate functions for their daily quality assurance tasks and do not want to deal with selecting different systems. With QCenter we offer the solution to that,” comments CEO of BST Percy Dengler. The innovative approach of the QCenter-concept is the integration of hard- and software-components on one operator interface, the Graphic User Interface (GUI). This GUI picks up the already known control principle of smartphones and tablet-PCs and therefore is an intuitive tool for the operator. The touchscreen supports gesture control and moreover offers central access to functions such as zooming, selecting fields of view, overview of the entire web width and other quality assurance tasks. QCenter is modular; cameras, image analysis functions, additional lighting and other options can be integrated, if needed, and are always operated by the central user interface. The producer gets a complete 1:1 overview of the whole web width in real time with the integrated high-resolution line scan camera modules—on request also on a large Quad HDTV monitor wall. “QCenter is the new standard of quality assurance,” explains Dengler. www.bstinternational.com
